History Teacher – Weymouth
Full-Time | Start ASAP

An established and forward‑thinking secondary school in Weymouth is looking for a passionate History Teacher to join their Humanities team at the earliest opportunity. This full-time position offers the chance to work within a positive, aspirational environment that takes pride in delivering excellent educational outcomes.

The role involves teaching engaging and well-planned History lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, supporting students in developing strong subject knowledge, critical thinking skills, and an enthusiasm for the past.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS, QTLS, or an equivalent recognised qualification)
  • Solid understanding of the History curriculum and experience teaching KS3/KS4
  • Confident classroom presence with the ability to motivate and inspire learners
  • Strong lesson-planning and delivery skills
  • Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities
  • A flexible, supportive approach and commitment to helping all students succeed

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
