Job Description: Geography Teacher
Location:
East of England, Cambridgeshire, Trumpington
£31,650 - £43,607 per annum
Job Duties:
- Plan and deliver engaging geography lessons to students
- Assess and evaluate students' progress through assignments and examinations
- Create a stimulating learning environment that encourages students' participation
- Provide feedback to students, parents, and colleagues on progress and areas for improvement
- Participate in departmental meetings and professional development activities
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Degree in Geography or a related field
- Experience teaching geography at the secondary level

Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of the national curriculum for geography
- Ability to engage and motivate students of varying abilities
- Excellent communication and organisational skills

- Postgraduate qualification in Education
- Experience working in a diverse school environment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
