Are you a passionate Geography Teacher looking for your next opportunity in Oldham? Whether you're an experienced educator seeking a new challenge or an ECT ready to start your teaching career, we are working with a number of well-regarded secondary schools across Oldham that are looking to appoint enthusiastic and dedicated Geography Teachers on both full-time and part-time basis.
These schools are committed to delivering engaging and inspiring Geography lessons that encourage students to develop a deeper understanding of the world around them. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to teach Geography across Key Stages 3 and 4, with some positions offering Key Stage 5 teaching for suitably experienced teachers. Schools are looking for professionals who can bring energy, creativity and a genuine passion for their subject into the classroom.
You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, monitoring student progress, creating a positive learning environment and supporting pupils to achieve their full academic potential. The ability to build strong relationships with students, colleagues and parents will be essential to success in these roles.
Applicants should hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification and have experience teaching Geography within a UK secondary school setting. ECTs are encouraged to apply and will be fully supported throughout the induction process. Strong classroom management skills, excellent communication abilities and a commitment to raising attainment are highly desirable.
Positions are available on both a temporary and permanent basis, with competitive daily rates and salaries dependent on experience and the nature of the role.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
