Teacher of Geography – Milton Keynes

Location: Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire
Start Date: January 2026 (or sooner)
Contract Type: Full-time / Long-term (with potential for permanent placement)
Salary: MPS/UPS – dependent on experience

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a forward-thinking secondary school in Milton Keynes seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Teacher of Geography to join their Humanities department.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated teacher to deliver engaging, high-quality Geography lessons that ignite curiosity and deepen students’ understanding of the world around them.


The Role

  • Plan and deliver creative, inspiring Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.

  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners.

  • Contribute to curriculum development and department enrichment activities.

  • Monitor pupil progress, providing effective feedback to help every student succeed.


About You

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

  • A degree in Geography or a related subject.

  • A passion for teaching and motivating young people.

  • Strong classroom management and excellent communication skills.

  • Experience teaching Geography up to GCSE (A-Level experience desirable but not essential).
