Salary: Paid to Scale (Dependent on Experience)

The Role
We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and experienced Geography Teacher to work in a range of secondary schools across Liverpool and the surrounding areas. Opportunities are available for both immediate starts and September 2026 placements, offering flexibility to suit your availability.
The successful candidate will deliver engaging Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable), inspiring students to develop a strong understanding of the world around them.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, engaging Geography lessons aligned with the national curriculum
- Plan, prepare, and assess student work effectively
- Monitor and support student progress and attainment
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Maintain strong classroom and behaviour management standards
- Contribute to departmental and whole-school initiatives
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
- Proven experience teaching Geography within UK secondary schools
- Strong subject knowledge and passion for the subject
- Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
- Ability to differentiate lessons to meet a range of learning needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
