Full Description: Explore our planet from the classroom and help students understand the dynamic forces shaping our world! We need a dedicated Geography Teacher to cover everything from tectonic processes and geomorphology to human development, globalization, and sustainability. Bring your enthusiasm for fieldwork, map skills, and modern geographical issues to Exeter secondary schools on a flexible supply, long-term contract, or permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging geography lessons exploring both physical and human geography themes.

• Integrate modern geographical case studies, data analysis, and geographic information systems (GIS) where appropriate.

• Support or lead outdoor fieldwork activities to connect classroom theory with the real world.

• Encourage environmental stewardship and global citizenship among students.

Requirements:

• Degree in Geography or a related Earth/Environmental Science field, plus QTS.

• Experience teaching Geography across KS3 and KS4 (KS5/A-Level experience is a distinct advantage).

• A creative teaching toolkit that includes visual, spatial, and analytical learning techniques.

• Passion for current global events, climate science, and socio-economic trends.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
