Job description

Supply Geography Teacher (GCSE) – SEN School


Cranborne | ⏰ 6 hours per week | ASAP START– end of academic year

 

Teaching Personnel are working closely with a specialist SEN school in Cranborne to recruit a Supply Geography Teacher to deliver GCSE-level Geography.

The school supports pupils aged 11–16 with SEMH and behavioural needs, offering a structured, nurturing environment where staff make a real difference.

 

The role:

  • Teaching GCSE Geography

  • 6 hours per week, flexible timetable:

    • 2 mornings or

    • 2 afternoons or

    • 1 morning and 1 afternoon

  • Supply position starting after half term, continuing until the end of the academic year

 

The ideal candidate:

  • Qualified Geography teacher (QTS/QTLS preferred)

  • Experience working with SEN/SEMH pupils (or a strong interest in this area)

  • Calm, patient and adaptable teaching approach

  • Confident managing behaviour and building positive relationships

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
