Pay: Up to £260 per day (UPS3) for the right candidate
Are you a passionate Geography Teacher looking for a new opportunity from September 2026?
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Geography Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Bedford. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious teacher who is committed to inspiring students and delivering high-quality Geography education across Key Stages 3 and 4.
The successful candidate will join a supportive department and play an important role in developing students’ understanding of the world around them through engaging, challenging and inclusive lessons.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Geography across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Deliver engaging lessons that inspire curiosity and a love of Geography.
- Monitor, assess and support student progress to achieve strong academic outcomes.
- Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives.
- Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment where all students can succeed.
- Maintain high expectations for learning, behaviour and achievement.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognised equivalent teaching qualification.
- Strong subject knowledge and genuine passion for Geography.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to supporting student progress and wellbeing.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a successful department.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
