Are you a passionate Secondary Geography Teacher looking for a teaching job in Bath? We are working with a well‑established secondary school seeking a motivated and committed Teacher of Geography to join their Humanities department.
This is an exciting opportunity for an educator with a strong passion for Geography who can inspire students and deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
The Role – Secondary Geography Teaching in Bath
The successful candidate will teach Geography across the secondary curriculum, including physical and human geography topics. You will play an important role in developing students’ understanding of the world, environmental awareness, and geographical skills.
Applicants with a specialism in Geography, including ECTs, are encouraged to apply. Support is available within a collaborative and supportive department.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high‑quality Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Demonstrate a clear passion for Geography, inspiring curiosity about the world and global issues
- Maintain strong classroom management and positive behaviour for learning
- Assess, monitor and track student progress effectively
- Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of students of all abilities
- Contribute to curriculum development within the Humanities department
The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards QTS
- Experience teaching Geography in a UK secondary school
- Secure subject knowledge of physical and human geography
- A Geography specialist with enthusiasm for the subject
- Excellent classroom management skills
- A commitment to high standards of teaching and student achievement
