Your Role Will Involve:

• Teaching Functional Skills in English, Maths, and/or ICT

• Delivering sessions tailored to individual learning levels – from Entry Level to Level 2

• Working with young people or adults who may be disengaged, have SEN, or need extra support

• Planning and adapting engaging lessons that build confidence and independence

• Tracking progress, providing constructive feedback, and contributing to learner development plans

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience teaching Functional Skills in any core subject

• A teaching qualification (e.g. PTLLS, DTLLS, Cert Ed, QTS, PGCE) is desirable

• Ability to engage hard-to-reach learners and differentiate learning effectively

• A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service – or willingness to apply

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
