Fully Qualified Teacher
Job description
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic fully qualified Primary School Teacher to join our supportive and welcoming team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or a confident practitioner looking to further develop their career within a collaborative school environment.
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong classroom practice, high expectations for all pupils, and a commitment to delivering engaging, inclusive lessons.

Location: Nelson
Salary: £120 - £150 per day and then AWR will be addressed to pay in line with M-Scale of the role.
Contract: Term-time and Full-time
Start Date: 1st September 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that meet the needs of all learners
- Create a positive, safe, and engaging classroom environment
- Monitor and assess pupil progress effectively
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff
- Contribute to the wider life of the school
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching within a UK primary school setting
- Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum
- Effective classroom management skills
- A reflective and proactive approach to teaching and learning
- A clear commitment to safeguarding and child welfare

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
