Full-Time SEN Teaching Assistant – Darwen 

Location: Darwen
Contract Type: Full-Time, Term Time
Employment Type: Agency (Long-Term Placement)
Pay: £85–£95 per day (depending on experience)

Are you a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a fulfilling role? We are working with a warm and welcoming school in Darwen seeking an enthusiastic TA to support pupils with special educational needs across all key stages.

About the Role:

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with a range of SEN, including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH needs
  • Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement personalised learning strategies

  • Support pupils’ emotional and social development in and out of the classroom

  • Encourage independence and promote a safe and inclusive learning environment

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience working with children with SEN (in school or similar settings)
  • A calm, patient, and adaptable approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching & Learning, Team Teach, or similar) are desirable but not essential
