Year 5 Teacher – Full-Time Role (September Start)
Location: Blackburn

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Fully Qualified Teacher (FQT) to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Blackburn. This is a full-time Year 5 teaching position, starting in September, offering an excellent opportunity to make a real impact during a crucial stage of pupils’ learning.

The Role:
You will take full responsibility for a Year 5 class, delivering engaging and creative lessons that inspire pupils and support their academic and personal development. You will work closely with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning, while fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Assess, monitor and report on pupil progress
  • Create a stimulating and supportive classroom atmosphere
  • Work collaboratively with staff, parents, and carers
  • Uphold school policies and contribute to the wider school community

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 5
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • A passion for education and commitment to pupil success
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
