SENDCo – Full Time Position
Location: Orrell
Start Date: September 2026

We are currently seeking a dedicated SENDCo to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Orrell on a full-time basis from September 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in shaping inclusive practice and ensuring that all pupils, regardless of need, are supported to achieve their full potential.

The Role:
As SENDCo, you will be responsible for leading and managing the provision for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities across the school. You will work closely with staff and parents to ensure high-quality, tailored support is in place for all learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate SEND provision across the school.
  • Lead on the development and implementation of EHCPs and support plans.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers to ensure inclusive classroom practice.
  • Monitor and track progress of pupils with SEND.
  • Liaise with parents, carers, and external professionals.
  • Provide guidance, training, and support to staff.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Proven experience working with children with a range of SEND needs.
  • Strong knowledge of current SEND legislation and best practice.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A proactive and compassionate approach.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
