Daily Rate: £120–£150

About the Role

We’re seeking an enthusiastic Reception Teacher to join a warm and welcoming primary school in the heart of Preston. This is a full-time class teacher position within the Reception cohort, ideal for someone who is passionate about early learning and creating a nurturing start to children’s educational journey.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons in line with the EYFS framework
  • Create an inclusive, stimulating classroom environment
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
  • Contribute to planning, assessment, and wider school life
  • Support children’s social, emotional, and academic development

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience teaching within the EYFS is essential
  • Strong understanding of EYFS principles and child development
  • QTS required – both ECTs and experienced teachers encouraged to apply
  • A creative, caring, and proactive teaching style
  • Commitment to providing high-quality early years education

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
