This is a full-time position starting in September 2026, available on either a temporary or permanent basis, depending on the successful candidate. The role will involve full teaching responsibilities, including planning, marking, and assessment, with teaching across KS3 and KS4.

The department is exceptionally well resourced, offering:

  • Two fully equipped Food Technology rooms
  • A recently enhanced textiles classroom
  • A fully equipped engineering workshop for small-scale projects
  • A main teaching room with comprehensive IT provision and CAD software
  • A laptop provided for every teacher

A passion for building positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues is essential, alongside a commitment to ensuring every learner receives the highest-quality educational experience. An interest in teaching GCSE Textiles would be advantageous, as would a proactive and collaborative approach to contributing to a thriving and ambitious department.
