Are you a passionate Food Technology & Textiles teacher looking for an exciting opportunity from January 2027?
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a successful mixed secondary school in the Ascot area for a teacher to join their Design & Technology department on a maternity cover basis, running from January 2027 until January 2028.
The Role
You will be teaching Food Technology and Textiles across GCSE level, inspiring students to develop their practical skills, creativity and understanding of the subject. You will join a supportive department within a welcoming secondary school that is committed to providing an engaging and high-quality learning experience for its students.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has QTS and relevant teaching experience
- Has experience teaching Food Technology and Textiles, ideally to GCSE
- Is passionate about practical, creative subjects
- Can plan and deliver engaging lessons
- Has strong classroom management skills
- Works well as part of a supportive department
- Is committed to achieving excellent outcomes for students
