The Role
As a Food and Design Technology Technician, you will:
- Prepare, organise, and maintain materials, ingredients, and equipment for Food Technology and Design lessons
- Support teachers in delivering practical sessions across KS3 and GCSE
- Ensure food hygiene, health and safety standards are consistently met
- Assist with stock control, ordering supplies, and managing resources efficiently
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
- Provide in-class support to students during practical activities where required
- Contribute to the smooth running of a busy and creative department

- Previous experience in a Food Technology, Design, or technician role (school-based experience desirable)

- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

- A proactive and flexible approach to supporting teaching and learning
