The Role

As a Food and Design Technology Technician, you will:

  • Prepare, organise, and maintain materials, ingredients, and equipment for Food Technology and Design lessons
  • Support teachers in delivering practical sessions across KS3 and GCSE
  • Ensure food hygiene, health and safety standards are consistently met
  • Assist with stock control, ordering supplies, and managing resources efficiently
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
  • Provide in-class support to students during practical activities where required
  • Contribute to the smooth running of a busy and creative department

  • A proactive and flexible approach to supporting teaching and learning
