Design Technology / Food Technology Teacher (Secondary) – Temporary Position

Location: Luton (LU7 area)
Pay: £150 - £240 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract: Temporary

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a strong and supportive team within a thriving secondary academy with a clear vision and high aspirations for its students. This role would suit both experienced teachers and ambitious early career teachers looking to develop their careers within a well-resourced and successful department.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and inspiring Design Technology / Food Technology Teacher to join a growing DT and Food faculty. The successful candidate will have the ability to engage students, deliver high-quality lessons, and contribute positively to the continued success of the department.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience teaching Design Technology and/or Food Technology within a secondary school setting.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • A passion for delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
