We are supporting several secondary schools across Bristol that are seeking enthusiastic Music teachers. Whether you’re interested in day-to-day supply, a longer-term placement, or guidance toward a permanent role, we can help you find a position that fits your career goals.

Starting on a flexible or supply basis gives you the chance to gain feedback, experience different school environments, and identify the right fit before committing to a longer-term role.

This is a great option for Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to broaden their experience, as well as experienced teachers seeking variety and flexibility.

Your Role (Flexible / Long-Term)

  • Deliver engaging Music lessons across KS3 and KS4

  • Inspire students in performing, composing, and music appreciation

  • Support development of technical skills and creativity

  • Adapt teaching approaches to meet a variety of abilities, including SEND

  • Monitor and encourage student progress and achievement


We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards it

  • Strong subject knowledge in Music

  • Confident classroom and behaviour management skills

  • Passion for inspiring creativity and musical development in students

  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
