EYFS Teaching Assistant - Preston (PR4)
Full-Time Opportunity | £14.25 - £15.00 per hour | Immediate Start
Are you passionate about supporting young children during the most important stages of their development? Teaching Personnel are recruiting on behalf of a friendly and inclusive primary school in the PR4 area seeking an EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team.
This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a nurturing school environment where learning is encouraged through exploration, creativity, and play. The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers to support children's learning, development, and wellbeing both inside and outside the classroom.
The Role
- Supporting children across the Early Years Foundation Stage.
- Assisting with interactive learning activities and continuous provision.
- Encouraging communication, confidence, and independence.
- Providing support on a 1:1 basis and within small groups where required.
- Helping to maintain a positive, safe, and stimulating learning environment.
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience working with children in Nursery or Reception.
- Knowledge of the Early Years Framework and child development.
- A patient, caring, and enthusiastic approach.
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
- A genuine passion for helping children reach their full potential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
