Full-time | January Start | Starting at £160 per day

An inclusive and welcoming primary school in BS14, Bristol is looking for a calm, caring and dedicated EYFS Teacher to work within their specialist SEN provision in a mainstream setting. This is a full-time role starting in January, with a handover alongside the current class teacher.

The Role

  • Teach and nurture a small EYFS class within the school’s SEN provision
  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging, play-based learning tailored to children with a range of additional needs
  • Differentiate learning to support pupils with SEN, including those with communication, social and sensory needs
  • Work closely with support staff, the SENCO and wider school team to provide consistent, child-centred support
  • Create a calm, safe and nurturing classroom environment where every child feels valued
  • Build strong relationships with pupils and their families, promoting progress, independence and confidence

What We Are Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience working with children with SEN, ideally within EYFS or early primary
  • A calm, patient, and friendly approach, with strong behaviour management and emotional regulation skills
  • Confidence in adapting teaching for a range of learning needs and styles
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Genuine passion for supporting young children’s development, wellbeing and love of learning
