A Primary school require an EYFS teacher to cover maternity leave from May 2022

An opportunity to teach in a well-regarded primary school has arisen ahead of the Summer Term. The successful EYFS teacher will join a supportive Early Years team, applications are encouraged from early career teachers. Situated in Rochdale (OL12), this larger than average primary school has over 275 pupils on roll and a strong reputation in the local community.

EYFS teacher, May 2022 Start

-          Initial two term appointment to cover maternity leave

-          Vibrant and welcoming Early Years team, supportive Phase Leader

-          Applications welcomed from ECT’s and experienced practitioners

-          Ofsted “Good” rating, strong community feel and excellent leadership

-          Initially on a timesheet basis with the opportunity to earn a school-based contract

The successful EYFS teacher applying for this post will be fully supported throughout the maternity leave, initially temporary however there could be further opportunities as the enrolment numbers continually increase. You’ll work in a well facilitated Early Years department, have regular meetings/reviews with the Early Years lead who is also part of the leadership team. This is an inclusive environment; the school serves a diverse community and generally children make above average progress throughout upon leaving the EYFS. The incoming teacher will need to have high expectations of pupils and their own teaching, you will be required to undertake full responsibilities in this post including parents’ evenings, attending after school meetings and the fortnightly CPD sessions.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
