EYFS Teacher – Frome
Start Date: September 2026
Full-Time or Part-Time Opportunity Available
Teaching Personnel are currently seeking an enthusiastic and nurturing EYFS Teacher for a welcoming primary school in Frome, starting in September 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate Early Years practitioner to support pupils through the important transition from Reception into Year 1, while also playing a key role in welcoming and settling the new EYFS cohort.
The successful candidate will:
- Have previous experience teaching within EYFS
- Be confident supporting transition between Reception and Year 1
- Create a positive, engaging and supportive learning environment
- Be proactive, adaptable and committed to high-quality early years education
- Be prepared to support the onboarding and settling-in of the new Reception cohort
What's on offer:
- £125 - £150 per day, depending on experience
- Full-time position available, with part-time considered for the right candidate
- Initial contract for the first term, with the potential to be extended for the right candidate
- No planning responsibilities required at this stage
- Ongoing support from a dedicated Teaching Personnel consultant
- Access to a range of CPD opportunities through Teaching Personnel
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
- Previous EYFS teaching experience
- Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service is desirable
- Safeguarding training is mandatory
- All applicants will be subject to Teaching Personnel's comprehensive vetting process, including:
- Right to Work checks
- Background and reference checks
- Verification of qualifications and employment history

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
