Part time | January start | Starting at £160 per day

Location: BS3, Bristol

A warm and welcoming primary school in the BS3 area of Bristol is looking for an EYFS Class Teacher from January. This role would suit an experienced Early Years practitioner looking for 2 to 3 days per week in one consistent setting.

The school is supportive and nurturing, with a friendly staff team and well behaved pupils. They are looking for someone who can quickly build relationships, deliver engaging provision and maintain clear routines in line with school policies.

The Role

- EYFS class teacher, working within Nursery and/or Reception depending on experience
- Plan and deliver high quality, play based learning in line with the EYFS framework
- Create a stimulating, language rich environment that supports all areas of development
- Use observations and assessments to inform next steps in learning
- Work closely with support staff, phase leaders and parents or carers
- Follow school routines and behaviour policies to ensure a calm, nurturing setting
- Flexible 2 to 3 days per week, agreed in advance with the school

What we are looking for

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Recent experience teaching in EYFS
- Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and early childhood development
- Nurturing, patient approach with excellent behaviour management
- Able to work collaboratively with the EYFS team and wider school staff
- Reliable and committed to providing high quality Early Years education
