This reputable faith primary school in Toxteth (L8) is currently seeking to appoint an EYFS Teacher. Rated Good by Ofsted, the school has an excellent reputation across the local community and welcomes children and families of all faiths – and those of none.

The Role

The school is looking for a dedicated EYFS Teacher to join their Reception team on a full-time, long-term basis from October 2025.

The successful candidate will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the EYFS curriculum.
  • Provide high-quality continuous provision to encourage independent, active learning.
  • Demonstrate a secure knowledge of phonics and be confident in using programmes such as Read Write Inc., Letters and Sounds or other validated schemes.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports every child’s development.

Whilst prior EYFS experience is highly desirable, applicants with experience across other primary year groups will also be considered.
