Job Title: EYFS Teacher (Long-Term Role)
Location: Frome
Start Date: September 2026
Contract Type: Long-Term (Full Time preferred – Part Time considered)
Pay Scale: M1 – M6 (dependent on experience)

A welcoming and supportive primary school in Frome is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic EYFS Teacher to join their team from September 2026 on a long-term basis.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate practitioner who is confident in delivering high-quality Early Years provision and creating a nurturing, engaging learning environment where every child can thrive.

The Role:

  • Full teaching responsibilities within the EYFS setting
  • Planning and delivering creative, play-based learning in line with the EYFS framework
  • Monitoring progress and supporting children’s development through strong assessment practices
  • Building positive relationships with pupils, parents, and staff
  • Creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Previous EYFS teaching experience (essential)
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and child development
  • A warm, caring, and adaptable approach
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
  • A commitment to supporting children’s emotional and academic development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
