KS2 Teaching Assistant – Bacup
September 2026 Start | Until End of Academic Year
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm
Location: Bacup
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Fixed-term until the end of the academic year

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and ambitious primary school in Bacup from September until the end of the academic year.

This school has exceptionally high expectations for both staff and pupils and is looking for a proactive, driven, and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant who can make a positive impact from day one.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Proven experience working within Key Stage 2 (essential)
  • Confidence in delivering and supporting small-group interventions
  • Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • A positive, flexible, and hardworking attitude
  • Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team and use their own initiative
