Job Title: Exam Invigilator (Temporary, Adhoc)
Location: Across East Lancashire
Pay Rate: £14.25 per hour
Contract Type: Temporary / Adhoc
Duration: May – June (Exam Season)

Overview:
We are currently recruiting reliable and professional Exam Invigilators to support schools and colleges across East Lancashire during the upcoming exam period. This is a flexible, temporary role ideal for individuals seeking short-term work in a structured and rewarding environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervising students during examinations to ensure a calm and secure environment
  • Distributing and collecting exam papers in line with regulations
  • Ensuring exam conditions comply with JCQ (Joint Council for Qualifications) guidelines
  • Assisting with setting up exam rooms prior to each session
  • Reporting any irregularities or incidents in accordance with procedures

Training:
Full JCQ training will be provided prior to your first assignment—no prior experience required.

Requirements:

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict procedures
  • Punctual, reliable, and professional at all times
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to remain calm and vigilant for extended periods

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
