Job description

Exam Invigilators – Adhoc Work (May–June)

We are currently recruiting Exam Invigilators to support schools during the upcoming exam period from May through to June. This is a flexible, adhoc opportunity ideal for individuals seeking short-term work within an education setting.

The Role:

  • Supervising students during examinations in line with regulations
  • Ensuring a calm, controlled, and compliant exam environment
  • Distributing and collecting exam papers
  • Assisting with setting up and clearing down exam rooms
  • Reporting any irregularities or breaches of exam conditions

Training Provided:

  • Full JCQ (Joint Council for Qualifications) training
  • Access Arrangements training to support students with additional needs during exams

Ideal Candidate:

  • Reliable, punctual, and professional
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict procedures
  • Confident managing groups of students in a formal setting
  • Able to remain vigilant and composed throughout exam periods

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
