✍️ English Tutor – Alternative Provision & LAC Support

Location: North Tyneside | Rate: £30–£35/hr | Term-time only

TP Tutors are seeking English tutors for flexible roles supporting pupils in alternative provision, care homes and other non-mainstream settings.

You’ll help students re-engage with English, often focusing on building basic skills or preparing for GCSE exams.

✅ What We’re Looking For:

• Teaching or tutoring qualification (QTS, PGCE etc.)

• Enhanced DBS (child workforce)

• Substantial experience with vulnerable or disengaged learners

• Empathetic, calm and encouraging approach

• Strong knowledge of the English National Curriculum

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
