Job description

Become an English Tutor for Students in Alternative Provisions!

Are you passionate about helping secondary students overcome challenges and improve their English skills? We’re seeking dedicated English tutors to provide one-on-one or small group sessions for learners in alternative provisions across local authorities.

What You’ll Do:

  • Deliver tailored English lessons to meet individual student needs.

  • Adapt teaching to support diverse learning styles.

  • Build confidence and foster a positive learning environment.

  • Track progress and report via our online platform.

  • Work collaboratively with local authorities.

Who You Are:

  • Qualified English teacher or experienced tutor (KS3/KS4).

  • Patient, adaptable, and empathetic.

  • Skilled at building rapport with students.

  • Passionate about inspiring learners and flexible in your approach.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
