English Teacher – Secondary School (Liverpool)
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Long-term with potential to go permanent
Teaching Personnel is recruiting an enthusiastic English Teacher for a mainstream secondary school in Liverpool. The school is seeking someone who can inspire a love of language and literature while supporting pupils of varying ability levels.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a creative English department within a school that values staff wellbeing and professional development.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Teaching English Language and Literature across KS3 and KS4
- Creating engaging lesson plans that motivate learners
- Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback
- Maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold QTS or be working towards it
- Be confident teaching the English curriculum
- Be looking for a long-term or permanent opportunity

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
