English Teacher - Milton Keynes

Contract: Full-time 

Location: Milton Keynes

Our client secondary school, based in the north of Milton Keynes requires a Teacher of English to join their dedicated team. You will be joining a team of creative, supportive and dynamic staff to teach Key Stages 3 and 4. The department is growing and requires an additional English Teacher to join their reputable team, on a long-term contract. 

This is an established School with an Ofsted 'Good' rating following an inspection in 2020. They have an excellent reputation for supporting Graduates and ECTs in ther teaching careers and would be an great first role for any newly-qualified English Teachers.

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Be a qualified teacher of English and able to deliver to KS3 & KS4 - GCSE 
  • Highly knowledgeable in English Language and Literature with experience working with Secondary age pupils
  • Be passionate about teaching and learning and have a positive outlook and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Good or Outstanding classroom practice with high expectations for achievements and behaviour
  • Be able to plan and deliver a creative and stimulating curriculum, both in the physical and digital classrooms
  • High expectations for yourself and the students ensure that all of our students achieve their very best
  • You will be dedicated to ensure that all children achieve their very best
  • An aspiring leader of learning and happy to grasp exciting CPD opportunities
  • Contribute to the values, ethos and the development of our schools
