  • Starting after Easter – April 2021 to July 2021 in the first instance

  • Pay in line with teacher pay scale MPS/UPS - GBP25,714 - GBP41,604
  • Teaching a full English timetable across KS3 and KS4
  • Modern and established 11-16 secondary school with ‘outstanding leadership’ – Ofsted
  • Great location in Bury, just a 5/10 minute drive from the town centre and Metrolink
  • Post available to English Teachers of all levels  - PGCE with QTS

The English Teacher will deliver a full timetable in line with the current national curriculum, including; reading, writing, grammar and vocabulary for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. The English Teacher will be comfortable delivering lessons to all pupil abilities and be flexible in your approach to teaching, along with good classroom management. The successful English Teacher will engage in planning and marking, departmental meetings, internal training and parent’s evening when required. 

The school are looking for a dedicated English Teacher to join their team who will deliver inspiring and engaging English lessons to encourage pupil to reach their full potential. Located close to the Radcliffe area of Bury, the secondary school can be reached just off Bury New Road and via the Metrolink service towards Bury.
