Job Duties:

The English Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging English lessons to students from Key Stage 3 to A Level. They will create a positive learning environment, manage classroom behaviour effectively, and provide support to students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

Required Qualifications:

The ideal candidate must hold a PGCE, QTS, a BA Honours Degree in English, and a Masters in English. They must also be SEND Trained.

PGCE, QTS, BA Honours Degree in English, Masters in English

Experience:

Prior experience teaching English from Key Stage 3 to A Level is preferred.

Knowledge and Skills:

The candidate should have strong behaviour management skills, the ability to teach a range of age groups, and a passion for English language and literature.

Preferred Qualifications:

A valid driving licence is desired for this role.

Working Conditions:

This role is based in Birmingham, West Midlands, and requires full-time availability to deliver lessons during school hours.
