Secondary School English Teacher – September Start

Are you a passionate English teacher ready for a new opportunity this September?

We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Secondary School English Teacher to work within a supportive and dynamic school environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is committed to delivering high-quality education and inspiring a love for English in students.

The Role

  • Teaching English across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to a range of abilities
  • Teaching both higher and lower ability students, ensuring all learners are supported and challenged
  • Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Monitoring student progress and providing constructive feedback

What We’re Looking For

  • A passion for English and a genuine enthusiasm for teaching
  • Strong subject knowledge across the KS3 and KS4 curriculum
  • Ability to differentiate lessons to meet varying student needs
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
