English Teacher – Secondary Schools | Surrey | September Start

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated English Teachers to join welcoming secondary schools across Surrey for a September start. Whether you are an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT), this is an excellent opportunity to make a real impact in supportive and well-resourced schools.
The Role
-
Teach English Language and Literature across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 opportunities available in some schools).

Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that inspire students to achieve their full potential.

Assess, monitor, and support student progress through effective feedback and differentiated teaching.

Contribute to the wider school community, including parents' evenings, departmental meetings, and extracurricular activities where appropriate.
What We're Looking For
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

A degree in English or a related subject.

A passion for English and a commitment to delivering outstanding teaching.

Strong classroom management and communication skills.

An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
