English Teacher – January Start

Teaching Personnel are currently working with a thriving secondary school in Bolton to recruit a hardworking and passionate English Teacher to join their team from January. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a supportive and dynamic English department where high standards and excellent results are the norm.

Position Overview:

• Role: English Teacher
• Start Date: January 2026
• Contract: 12-month fixed term, with the potential to be taken on permanently
• Location: Bolton – easily accessible via M60/M61 and close to Bolton train station
• Salary: In line with MPS/UPS (£22,917 - £38,633), dependent on experience
• Teaching Requirements: Must be able to teach English across KS3 and KS4

Ideal Candidate:

• A qualified English Teacher with QTS
• Able to deliver engaging and differentiated lessons to students across KS3 and KS4
• Confident in managing behaviour and supporting students with varying needs
• Passionate about raising attainment and fostering a love of English
• Available full-time from January 2026
