Contract: Full-time, Long-term
Salary: MPS/UPS, dependent on experience

The Role

Teaching English across KS3 and KS4

Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons

Supporting pupils to develop their literacy, reading and writing skills

Monitoring and assessing pupil progress

Working collaboratively with the English department

Contributing to the wider life of the school
The Ideal Candidate
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
-
Experience teaching English within a secondary school
-
Strong knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 English curriculum
-
A positive and engaging approach to teaching
-
High expectations of behaviour and academic achievement
-
Excellent communication and classroom management skills
