English Teacher – Wellington, Somerset
Full-Time | Immediate or September Start | Teaching Personnel

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a welcoming secondary school in the Wellington, Somerset area to recruit a passionate and dedicated English Teacher.

This is an exciting opportunity for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) to join a supportive English department and inspire students to develop their confidence and skills in reading, writing, and analysis.

The role:

  • Deliver engaging English lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
  • Plan, prepare, and assess work in line with the national curriculum
  • Support students of all abilities to achieve their full potential
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold QTS (or equivalent recognised teaching qualification)
  • Have experience teaching English at secondary level
  • Demonstrate strong classroom management skills
  • Be passionate about English and committed to student progress

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
