English Teacher – Full-Time (Temporary)
Pay: £140–£220 per day (dependent on experience)
Teaching Personnel is seeking a passionate and engaging English Teacher to join one of our partner secondary schools on a full-time, temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who enjoys inspiring a love of language, literature, and creative expression in the classroom ✍️✨
The Role:
- Deliver engaging English lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 advantageous)
- Teach a range of literature, language, and writing skills
- Encourage confident reading, writing, and discussion
- Maintain a positive, well-managed classroom environment
- Support the wider English department as required
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Strong subject knowledge in English Language and Literature
- Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
- Enthusiastic, reliable, and adaptable
- Recent experience teaching English in UK secondary schools

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
