Supply English Teacher

Location: Local Secondary Schools
Type: Supply / Flexible Work
Start Date: Immediate & Ongoing

We are currently seeking passionate and adaptable English Teachers to work on a supply basis across local secondary schools. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced teachers and ECTs/NQTs looking for flexibility, variety, and valuable classroom experience.

The Role

  • Deliver engaging English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 opportunities may be available)
  • Follow lesson plans and maintain a positive learning environment
  • Adapt quickly to different school settings
  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
  • Mark work where required and provide feedback

Who We’re Looking For

  • Qualified English Teacher (QTS or working towards)
  • ECTs/NQTs are very welcome
  • Confident classroom presence and strong subject knowledge
  • Reliable, flexible, and professional
  • Able to complete ECT/NQT induction hours through us
  • Strong communication and organisational skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
