Supply English Teacher (KS3 & KS4) – September Start
Location: Stockton-on-Tees
Contract: Long-term supply
Start Date: September 2026
We are currently recruiting a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher to join a secondary school in Stockton-on-Tees on a long-term supply basis from September. This role offers a great opportunity to deliver high-quality English teaching while benefiting from the flexibility and support of a supply position.
The Role
- Teach English across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons that inspire and motivate students
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback
- Contribute positively to the department and wider school community
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4
- Strong classroom management skills
- A passion for English and student success
- Ability to adapt quickly and work effectively within a school setting

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
