Salary: £168.80 - £232.57 per day

The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Secondary English Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will inspire a love of literature and language, delivering engaging and challenging lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Support students of varying abilities to achieve their full potential
- Contribute to curriculum development and extracurricular activities
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Degree in English or a related subject
- Strong subject knowledge and passion for English literature and language
- Excellent classroom management skills
- Strong communication and organisational abilities
- Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
Desirable
- Experience teaching GCSE and/or A-Level English
- Ability to contribute to school clubs or enrichment programmes

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
