The Role

You will be responsible for delivering engaging and high‑quality English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, covering both English Language and English Literature. The role involves inspiring students to develop strong literacy, analytical, and critical thinking skills while preparing them effectively for GCSE examinations. This is a rewarding opportunity to influence young learners and contribute positively to their academic and personal development.

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Strong knowledge of the GCSE English curriculum
  • Experience teaching English Language and Literature at KS3 and KS4
  • A commitment to inclusive, positive classroom practice
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills
  • A collaborative approach and enthusiasm for continued professional development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
