English Teacher

We are seeking an inspiring and committed English Teacher with QTS to join a thriving secondary setting in the Winchelsea area of Poole. This is a full-time role with an immediate start, working with learners aged 16 to 18.

The working day is 8.30am to 5pm. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging English lessons that motivate and challenge students, while supporting their academic progress and personal development.

Key responsibilities include:

• Planning, delivering and assessing high-quality lessons in line with curriculum expectations

• Creating an inclusive and engaging classroom environment

• Supporting students with varying learning needs to achieve their potential

• Working collaboratively with colleagues to support positive outcomes

Essential Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• A minimum of six months’ childcare or educational experience

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEN needs

• Strong classroom management and communication skills

• A positive, adaptable and student-focused approach
