The Role:

• Deliver engaging and high-quality English lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students (Key Stage 5 experience desirable but not essential)

• Inspire students to develop a love for literature, language, and learning

• Plan, prepare, and assess student work in line with curriculum standards

• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment

• Work collaboratively with school staff to support student progress and wellbeing

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

• Strong subject knowledge in English Language and Literature

• Excellent classroom management skills
