Teaching Personnel are currently seeking passionate and dedicated English Teachers to work in secondary schools across Newcastle Upon Tyne and the surrounding areas from September 2026.

The Role

• Deliver engaging, high-quality English lessons to KS3 and KS4 learners.
• Plan, prepare, and assess students' work in line with the national curriculum.
• Support pupils in achieving their target grades, including exam preparation where required.
• Adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of different school environments and learners.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere that promotes student progress and achievement.

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Has experience teaching English within a secondary school setting.
• Demonstrates strong classroom management, communication, and organisational skills.
• Is adaptable, professional, and confident working across a range of schools.
• Is committed to supporting young people and promoting a love of learning.
