English Teachers Wanted – Make a Real Difference in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire
Support Local Learners with TP Tutors
Are you passionate about education and supporting young people who need it most? At TP Tutors, we specialise in providing personalised one-to-one and small group tuition to learners.
We’re currently looking for experienced and compassionate English Teachers to deliver tailored tuition across Mansfield and the wider Nottinghamshire area.
About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to teach English outside of the traditional classroom environment and truly make an impact.
You’ll be working directly with students in their homes or local community settings across Mansfield, delivering structured and engaging lessons based on individual learning plans.
Your Responsibilities
-
Provide high-quality English tuition (1:1 or in small groups)

Adapt lessons to suit different learning styles and abilities
-
Simplify complex topics to support understanding
-
Offer clear, constructive written feedback after each session
-
Follow all safeguarding and child protection protocols
What We’re Looking For
-
Strong subject knowledge of the English curriculum.
-
Experience supporting SEND and/or SEMH students
-
Excellent communication, planning, and organisation skills
-
A patient and empathetic approach to teaching
-
Current safeguarding training
-
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
